Milk

I spilled Cheerios and milk this morning (fat free) and of course Samantha was gobbling it up before I got back from the sink with the sponge. She LOVED it! I just was a little concerned with the milk. Any thoughts? I am going to use the Cheerios as 'super special treats'.

Well milk is typically supposed to be difficult for dogs to digest, I wouldn't worry about what she happened to get from this spill. Cheerios are great though-- all oats which are fine for dogs :-)

I agree with Adina; milk & dairy products in general can be tough on dogs' digestive systems. They seem to handle plain yogurt better, and if that works, a little cottage cheese can be tried. Cheerios were what I used as training rewards for my mini poodle...she loved them!
