Does anyone feed their dogs this food? My dog gets Alaskan oil and vitamins but her fur has become very dry. She was eating Acana Heritage. Before that taste of the wild. Trying to get a good food for her. She is 1 1/2 Austraila labradoodle

Hi Linda, Acana is one of our recommended brands. All of their formulas are good, but for dry skin and coat, your best bet is a fish based formula. You might try the Heritage Freshwater Fish formula, it has a wonderful Omega 6:3 ratio which may help. 

Also, for dry coats, you want to be sure that she is not bathed too often, and that when she is bathed, you use a good shampoo made for dogs; human shampoos have the wrong pH for dogs. Also, don;t use any "leave in" conditions or sprays, they can make the coat brittle or dry.

Start with a small bag in case she doesn;t like it. You shouldn;t have to do a long transition, since  both foods are from the same line, so the nutritional profile is similar
