acana Ranchlands (beef, lamb, herring)

I know this is on the recommended list of foods but I never heard anyone discuss this food. I am think of switching Morgan because her hair is getting very dry. She gets salmon oil and she eats Call of the wild. Any info would be appreciated.

We removed TOTW from our recommended list several years ago, for a few reasons, the main one being that they are owned and made by Diamond, which has the worst recall history of any pet food company out there. Their formulas also have a very poor Omega 6:3 ratio, which does relate to dry skin and coat. I think switching to any of the Acana formulas would be a very good idea, they all have excellent Omega 3 content and ratios.

We recently switched to Acana Ranchlands and Grasslands.  We switched from Orijen trying to cut costs a bit.  I am not sure I am saving enough to make it worth my while and we may go back to Orijen.  None of my guys has dry skin on either the Orijen or Acana.

My 4 month old GD is on Orijen puppy and we switched our 9 year Basset to Orijen too. Though expensive, it is worth it. Both dogs love it dry! Very happy with this recommendation.
