Nancy, we have lots and lots of discussions here about our favorites foods and feeding methods as well as nutrition topics, reading labels, ingredients, allergies etc. It would be impossible to repost all of it here in this new discussion, lol. You can try reading through our discussion topics, there is a wealth of info available that we have worked hard compiling and researching over the past 16 months. Our Commercial Foods section is chock full of info on all the brands. You can also click on "return to Food Group discussions" above, and then do a search to see if there is any info about the brands you mentioned. I don't believe Timberwolf has been discussed before, or that anyone here is feeding it, so that might be a good one for us to research. In addition, I did a survey recently of what foods our members are feeding, and the results are here in this discussion: http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/dk-doodles-are-eating-good...
That should give you an idea of what our members' favorites are.
Most of our members feed kibble or a combination of homecooked and kibble. Some are strictly homecookers. The DK Cookbook group has recipes. The Homecooking section here in TFG has many discussions on how to feed a homecooked diet or combine "people" food with kibble.
There are very few people here feeding raw. There is a bit of info about RMB feeding, none about BARF. Again, searches will help you locate the info.
Happy reading!
We love "Taste of The Wild", Buffalo and Venison all stages dog food. Grain Free. It is ranked very high on Dog Analysis and is not over the top expensive. When they get older, they really don't eat very much because it is such a good quality food. My picky eater love's it too.
Folks, as I explained above, all of the onfo is available here in the discussion forum along with new info and updates. One of our goals here is to make it easy for people to find what they are looking for by not having the same info all over (see The Food Group Guidelines) and not repeating the same discussions over and over. There is a wealth of valuable research and information to be found here, which has been a labor of love for many of us, and it would be a shame for new members to miss that. If any new members who did not respond to my survey on this topic would like to add their favorites to that discussions, the link is here: http://www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/dk-doodles-are-eating-good...
Please forgive me for being such an organization freak; I appreciate everyone's help & cooperation.
