Food transition when on vacation?

I'm bringing Maggie home at the typical 8 weeks. Two weeks later we are all going on a trip to stay at a vacation home by the lake for a week. Maggie's coming along. She is coming home from the breeder on Puppy Chow and I know I want to transition her to Fromm Puppy Gold. Would it be better to wait until we come home from the trip (she will be 11 weeks) to start the food transition, or is it better to start slowly while on the trip?

Wait until you get back from the trip. You shouldn't switch foods for a couple of weeks after she comes home anyway. Three weeks should be fine, I might even wait until you've been back home for a week, and she's 12 weeks old.
