If so, what do you think of it? I found a couple dog treat recipes that call for it as an ingredient. The reviews I have read are all good, but I wanted to see if an DK'ers have tried it.
I love Honest Kitchen! I had problems with loose stools for about 2-3 months after trying to give Aylah some Salmon oil (it just wasn't her thing).Nothing seemed to help (and I tried a lot of things- slowly and patiently for quite a while). Honest Kitchen was the food that finally helped her get back to normal. I've been using it for 5 months and have not had a single problem with loose stools since. I give Aylah the Embark and also use the Perfect Form supplement (for helping them have beautiful "poops"). I will also give some of the frozen Primal raw for a little extra flavour. When I gave Primal raw exclusively she was still loose. Before using the Honest Kitchen, Aylah had been on Orijen kibble and I was not able to normalize her on it. I am now able to use the Orijen kibble (puppy version) as training treats without repercussions. The Honest Kitchen company is a delight to work with and when I order directly from them the food comes very quickly. I receive their monthly newsletter and apparently they are going to be coming out with a grain free fish based food soon called Zeal (it's not out quite yet). Lastly, if you travel at all (as I do) it's so easy to travel with. I just put the day's worth of food in a ziplock baggie. When it's time for Aylah to eat, I add a little water and stir (until it's about mashed potato consistency) and wait 5 minutes. In the morning I mix it up, take her for her walk, come back and feed her. Hope this helps.
