My 4 H dog club does a fund raiser for our club at our local county fair, which is in 3 weeks. Last year we sold 800 packages of cookies,(with 5 in each package). We use the funds that we raise to bring in a trainer for the children and their dogs and to purchase agility equipment. I need to bake approximatly 500 cookies and I am looking for a healthy, easy, and good recipe for dog treats. I also would like to start as soon as possible, because it looks like I might be baking for a while, and I need to know how I would store them so that they will not go bad. Any help would be appreciated. I just love volunteering for these things. It just never ends :0)
Thank you sooooo much. For some reason I couldn't find the cookbook when I looked yesterday. I just checked it out and now I can't wait to start the 500 cookies I have to make. I know Harley will love being the guina pig, so to speak. Thanks again.
Hi Karen, I just checked out the cookbook and I am going to join that group right now. Loved the recipes I saw. I know I could count on this group to direct me where to go. Thanks
I just want to send a thank you for the recipe's for the dog treats. I shared them with my 4 H dog club and this week our group sold 1656 packages of cookies!!!!!!!!!! The liva treats were a really, really big hit along with the peanut butter cookies. And Harley loved all my baking because she was the taste tester. Couldn't really tell which ones she liked best because she ate them all. Thanks again.
