Here is where the smaller Wellness bags have “gone”...

hi doodle friends,

I have fed Ollie girl the Wellness LID Simple Salmon and Potato for over 2 years now, but recently couldn’t find anywhere the smaller bags, which I prefer. They’re more convenient, stay fresher, and we know the happy that comes from a new bag, eh? I pay a little more, but it has been worth it. I know others feel the same.

So, I decided to write to them asking WHY they would make that change...

Thank you for taking the time to write to us about our Wellness® Simple Grain Free Salmon & Potato Formula Dry Dog Food. We're sorry that our Simple Salmon is currently only available in the large 24.0 lb. bag. However, we did recently re-launch the Simple product under our Complete Health Limited Ingredient product line. It is the same formula and same ingredients, just new packaging and it's available in a 4.0 lb. bag. Please click the link below to learn more about this new product.

I'm pretty sure we talked about this here somewhere before. I did indeed look at the Complete Health version of the Simple formulas, and they are identical. I guess they just wanted to simplify their product lines. No pun intended, lol.

There's a huge difference between 24 pounds and 4 pounds. Katie and Willow go through 30 pounds in almost a month. I guess if we wanted a new bag every 4 days it would work... What happened to the 10 or 15 pound bag? That seems more reasonable to me.

Yeah, that would have been a problem for me when JD was alive. I bought the 10 lb bags, and because part of his diet was homecooked, that lasted 2 weeks.

And here I am longing for the old 50 pound bags......  40..... how about 30?  Please at least 29.....
