honest kitchen zeal

Good Morning,

We went with Honest Kitchen Zeal which is the fish one. SEveral people on the HK website said the smell was horrible, which it is. We are wondering if Embark has a horrible smell as well. Before we buy a bigger box, I guess we need to know. She seems better. We;re 3/4 HK and 1/4 Acana right now. 

Any thoughts? Am I on the right group to discuss this?

We use Embark, and I think it smells like the dry soup mix that you use of making veggie dip.  I don't mind the smell of it at all.  I'm so glad to hear that she's doing better.  It certainly has been the answer for my two guys.

You are in the right group, and I can tell you that Force (the chicken formula) smells wonderful; like Jane said, it reminds me of dry vegetable soup mix. I think the Zeal smells because it's the fish formula.

I have tried Force, Love, Thrive and Embark and none of them has a bad odor.  I got samples of all at my local pet food store.  Then I ordered larger sample boxes from Honest Kitchen online.

We tried them all too. The stinky one is the zeal, Sadie loves it but I just cant take the smell. Try the samples first.

We use Embark as well..same as the above responses..smells like veggies!
