How long do you feed a flavor before switching

Just curious, I will be switching to adult Origen in another month and I wanted to offer Yogi some variety. How often do you change everyday, week, or after a bag is empty? 5 or 15#? Planning what I want to get ordered. I think there are 3 mixes we might try. Thanks!

We are not on Orijen, but with Fromm, a 15 # bag lasts 5 weeks. We switch proteins each time.

I usually get a bag of food every two weeks wether we need it or not, because that's payday :)  I've used Blue Buffalo Grain Free for a year now.  That's the longest I've stayed on a food in the last 6 or 7 years - Thanks Karen!  Anyway, I found out Fozzie doesn't like the fish so I go between the chicken and duck and I just randomly scoop their food.  Both boys have done just fine going between these two.   Karen is so right about leaving a protein untried just in case a food allergy develops.  I've switched foods so often that it will be hard and expensive to find a protein they haven't had.

We switch formulas each bag, which is about 6 weeks.  We rotate between 3 of the Acana regionals formulas (we don't feed the chicken - Luna's had issues with chicken in the past).
