I swear by it!

NUPRO All Natural Dog Supplement was researched and developed by a nutrition doctor. It is a totally holistic product that replaces the vitamins, minerals, and digestive enzymes that a dog does not get from his processed food. In other words, what we are doing is replacing with natural ingredients what a dog would normally have gotten in the wild. It is excellent for all breeds and all ages from puppies to geriatric.

NUPRO is made with fresh quality health food ingredients that are human-grade, not animal-grade. Contains a full range of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, and essential fatty acids in their natural raw forms. Whether you use commercial diets, feed B.A.R.F., or cook for your animals, NUPRO is an essential part of your daily nutritional program.

NUPRO does NOT contain any of the following:
Wheat, Sugar, Fillers, Preservatives, By-Products, Grains or Corn

So, Treat your best friend to a healthy life with
NUPRO all natural dog supplement!

Very nice also to hear that they gave you an honest answer about the joint product based on what was best for your dog, as opposed to taking advantage of the chance to make more sales...that speaks very well for the company!
I totally agree. I have also received 2 follow up emails giving me local stores where I can purchase it instead of me driving the hour it would take me to get to their warehouse. They seem to be a very mice company to deal with. How nice for a change!
I have been reading your suggestions on additional nutrition/vitamins. I do know from spending 8 years in the Med Center for a pharma company that digestive enzymes need to be live to get the best results. That's why drs recommend eating real yogurt when you take antibiotics particularly if you are on long term antibiotics. Absorption ratio and how we/our dogs metabolize vitamins are directly affected by variables such as additional supplements (needed like you need Vit D in order to metabolize and benefit from Calcium supplements), our own metabolism this would be respective of animasl as well, which directly affects the overall absorption and utilization of vitamins. My concern is the nutritional value of Innova or any othe higher end dry dog food or canned food. Do we really need to supplement? So I worry that if I need to, I worry that if I do I may be over supplementing what my puppy is already getting which could be detrimental as well. Basically, I don't know what to do.
I think if your dog is on antibiotics, or other drugs, research and supplement. If not, stick with a general multi vit and fish oil. You can still give some yogurt occaisionally. If he/she is healthy you don't need to give extra supplements every day. Balance over time, not Complete & Balance Everyday. That is a myth started by the Dogfood companies.
Karen and I had a discussion about Dogswell Treats recently and I couldn't remember where we had it, but I thought this was a good place to put this. About a year ago I had contacted Dogswell because I was concerned about it bieng made in China. They reassured me that their testing methods are far superior to other jerky companies out there. I contacted them again, last week and this is their relpy:

Hello Lynne,

Thank You for contacting us here at DOGSWELL®. I just wanted to reassure you that there is nothing to worry about. In no way are we affected or involved with this FDA warning.

The DOGSWELL® manufacturing facilities meet the highest and most strict sanitary conditions. All of our plants have HACCP programs, have received high scores by independent Third Party auditors, have strict raw ingredient standards and continuously check our products during processing and when they are finished to ensure they meet our high quality standards. Our wet food for dogs, our dry food for dogs and our biscuits are manufactured in the U.S. and our treats are manufactured in China . We regularly visit our manufacturing facilities to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

We don't determine our source country for ingredients based solely on the country of origin; we find the best quality ingredient combined with the highest quality supplier and testing specifications and select them. You can be confident that DOGSWELL® products are natural, high-quality and provide the best for your pet.

Please know we certify that our products are safe and clean with regular testing and ensure that our products meet high quality standards. We test product from each batch that is produced and have never had our results come back positive for ANY harmful ingredients such as cyanuric acid, melamine, e.coli and salmonella. Moreover, please note that no DOGSWELL® product contains milk powder.

We regularly test our products for any harmful contaminants and to ensure that they meet our quality standards. Along with an in-depth knowledge of our supply chain, our regular tests assure our customers that we are providing their pets with only the very best ingredients. Tests are conducted at independent, third-party, U.S. laboratories that follow FDA and APPMA-approved methodology. Please see attached for an example of test results for our treats; I have attached one of our VITALITY™ products that were tested recently.

Our material suppliers are certified clean and clear of any contaminants. If raw ingredients do not meet their specifications and pass safety tests, then the ingredient is rejected immediately and never enters our processing facilities. Moreover, we strive to use products from suppliers that treat their animals humanely. Please see attached for an image of our chickens in their barn.

Please know that we honestly believe that pets are family too and we feed our products to our own pets regularly. Again, we test product from each batch that is produced and have never had our results come back positive for ANY harmful ingredients.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. If interested, I would be more than happy to send you samples and/or coupons.

Thank You,
Jeff
