Heidi is coming home on Saturday and I went on Chewy.com to order her Orijen puppy food. I had two choices - "Original" which comes in a 5 pound bag and another one that comes in a 4.5 pound bag. I don't know the difference and don't know which one I should order. Help!

That's what counts! And I'm glad to hear he's eating better, since we've had some members say their dogs don't seem to like the new formulas as well as the old.
It would have been so much easier if chewy didn;t choose to use the word "Original", because that's actually the name of an Adult formula. They should have given the options as USA and Canadian.
If someone does opt to get the Orijen puppy USA sourced, I'd be interested to see if you have a lot of particulate matter in the bag. My Orijen puppy Canadian sourced had larger kibble and almost no particulate; my Orijen puppy USA sourced (first and only bag so far) has a smaller kibble, and a LOT of particulate. A good part of the particulate sticks to the kibble. I got both from my local pet store. I don't know if my ONE USA sourced bag Orijen puppy particulate is a fluke, but in the bags I got, larger kibble/less particulate (Canadian) required less sweeping and cleaning than the USA sourced.
I'd also be interested if other USA sourced Orijen brand adult formulas have substantial particulate matter, because I'll probably be switching to an adult formula for the next bag.
Yes, that's what I was talking about. Good to know that some of the Canadian adult flavors had crumbs on them, whereas the USA didn't. As more people report, maybe it depends on the flavor, or the lot, or how far they had to transport it.
Thank you so much for reporting your experience!
