Puppy food

Hello, I'm new to the food group. I have a new goldendoodle puppy coming March 13 and I'm trying to decide on a food. The breeder has him on Life's abundance. I was wondering if anyone has any positive or negative information about them. I guess they are a multi level marketing company so you can't buy the food at a store. I was also looking into Innova puppy, Wellness puppy, and California Natural puppy. I am planning to prepare some home cooked chicken and vegetables and combine with their kibble. Any thoughts anyone?

Welcome to the Food Group, and congratulations on your new puppy!
We are big fans of home-cooking, and of feeding a variety of different kinds of foods; kibble, fresh foods, home-cooked. Many people here use Innova and California Naturals...you can read about everyone's experiences in the Commercial Foods section. I know it's long, but you will be fascinated by all the information there...it's well worth your time.
Wellness is a good food, but some of us have had problems with loose stools on the Wellness. Every dog is different, and sometimes you have to find the food that works best for yours. As long as you stick to premium brands, add variety, and keep yourself informed, your puppy will be fine.
I know there are some other discussions here on DK about the Life's Abundance, but I don't have any experience or knowledge with it. You might check the link I provided in your other discussion. I would not want to use a food that was not readily available at a store, but that's just me. (Not a fan of multi-level marketing, either, lol) I'm sure the others will chime in with their thoughts & advice.
It's great that you are looking into this before your puppy arrives. You are going to be a fabulous doodle mom!
