There are a couple of recipes here: http://www.doodlekisses.com/group/thefoodgroup/forum/topics/sweet-p...
This one looks simple: Just slice the potatos really thin, spay a nonstick baking sheet with a little oil, bake on a low heat 250-275 degrees until they are crispy, you may need to turn them once. This will take some time so you will have to judge for yourself. I think each batch is a little different depending on the moisture in the sweet potato. A convection oven makes the process a little faster. The slices will be a little rubber like when they are cooled, I store them in the fridge no need to freeze, they don't last that long.
And here in the dehydrator discussion are recipes with or without a dehydrator:

This one looks good, too:
Instructions:
Storing - Although these treats are dried, you will want to keep them in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. You can freeze them for up to 4 months.
Whether your dog has a need to chew or not, she'll love this all natural sweet potato dog chew. In fact, it's such an easy dog treat recipe, I bet you'll be making several batches at a time for your dog and all of his all natural dog treat loving friends!

I actually do mine for longer in a lower oven - around 200 for at least 3 hours - sometimes it takes 4. I slice them as thin as I can - Zoe loves them!!
