I am a tremendous fan of Dr. Pitcairn. This book is so comprehensive and includes a complete guide to commercial foods, nutitritional charts and fact as well as recommended dietary plans for dogs with specific disorders and illnesses. Plus there are some wonderful and simple to follow recipes if you decide to home cook for your dogs.

Hi Diane, I do remember the discussion with the rude sales rep about Labradoodles. I just could not remember the company. Now, I will also put Evangers on the back burner. I also remembered there was a company with a meat rendering plant on their property and I will NEVER use their food. Such a shame too because everything on their website looks so great but it makes one wonder where they get all their terrific looking treats etc.
As I said, the pup is coming to me having been on Life's Abundance so I will continue that for now plus add puppy Orijen so I have two foods for now to rotate. I live in Florida also and you have no idea how much I look forward to reading your posts on certain forums. I am so impressed by your knowledge...I hope my lurking doesn't scare you away! I will be getting my Labradoodle in a few weeks so I wanted to do all my research befroe his arrival and not after. Thank you so much for all the time you put into your research and also being generous enough to post it!! You are one of the best!!
