I added some treats (Charlee Bear liver and Fruitables sweet  potato and pecan) to Haley's auto ship food expecting them to be shipped at the same time as the food.  The food arrived Friday.  The treats are in transit but estimated delivery is July 22.  That means they will be in transit 9 days from Chicago to me in Virginia!  My concern is the excessive heat this week.  Should I be concerned?

Hard to say. I think a lot depends on the way the treats are packaged for shipping, stored and transported. You might call the company you ordered from and ask. I think most dehydrated treats hold up pretty well, but I'm not sure.
That said, we don't know how the treats and food sold in the stores are shipped, or how long they might have been in transit in hot weather before they got to the store.

Thanks, Karen.   I just checked the tracking number again (for the umpteenth time) and expected delivery is now Friday, 7/19 and it's a smart post so the USPS will deliver it.  I usually get these deliveries several days earlier than the expected delivery date.  So, it may not be an issue at all.

It's weird how the tracking changes with respect to estimated deliveries. I'm expecting Jasper's Barkbox. On Saturday, the estimated delivery date was showing as  July 18th. Today, it says it's out for delivery right now; I should get it today.

That happens to me all the time with Amazon.  I don't have prime so it always says things will take about 5 days... more often than not they arrive within 2 days.

Chewy is like that, too.
