Hi everyone,

I'm looking for suggestions of supplements to add to Nickie's current meal. Right now, we put 3/4 cup of Orijen puppy kibble, boiled boneless chicken breast, 1 pump of Salmon Oil, and 3/4 cup of water and blend it in a Nutribullet. Nickie loves it this way but we would just like to make sure what we're feeding her is complete and balanced.

Do you think this meal is complete or should we be adding vegetables or supplements to it?

What is her current age and weight, much chicken is she getting per meal, and how many meals is she getting per day?

Hi Karen,

Below is the info you requested.

Weight: 35.5lbs

Age: 11 months

Meals: Twice a day

She's getting rougjly 5-6oz of chicken for each meal.

I'd increase the amount of Orijen and decrease the amount of chicken. The Orijen is complete and balanced, but it needs to make up at least half of her daily intake in order for her not to require vitamin and mineral supplements.

Thanks for the advice, Karen. I went ahead and adjusted the ratio. Now I'm doing one cup of Orijen for each meal (two cups a day) and less chicken.

Thank you!

That should be fine.

The Orijen itself is complete in vitamins etc.

I've increase her Orijen intake to get more nutrients from Orijen
