Threw Up Whole Pieces of Kibble

This morning Sam threw up pieces of kibble about 10 hours after being fed dinner. They were whole pieces, though fully formed they were soft. It was a decent amount too. Should I be concerned at all? He seems happy and healthy now, even though he wasn't super excited for breakfast and is just now getting to it. Thanks!

Keep an eye on him. If it's a one time thing, no problem. If it happens again, it may be an indication that there is something preventing him from digesting his food.

It seems so strange to have it still whole that many hours later, but both of mine have done this same thing. I would watch for other changes. Mine seem to do this when they're having other problems that I haven't noticed yet. Hopefully it's just a little tummy thing. Good luck!

The kibble coming up whole that many hours later shows that it's been sitting in the GI tract without being digested. And yes, that's a sign of a digestive problem.

Well he ate breakfast and dinner. Nothing has come back up yet...and he pooped normal, so who knows! I will keep an eye on him, but hoping it was a one time deal!

Hoping it was just an upset stomach and things continue to be normal.
