Waggin Train Dog Treats

Hi:

 

What is everyone hearing about this ....... at least to me disreputable company.They try to make their products look like they are manufactured in the USA but when you look more closely they are made in China.

 

Fortunately our girl had only one treat before it was discovered. I usually give her only liver treats .Unfortunately our friends dog dies last week from consuming pet treats from this company. I have noticed many comments on websites about pets dying from consuming products from this company.

I agree with both of you. Sadie usually has her Orijen, chicken backs fruit and veggies and liver treats or sometimes lamb and rice treats and that is it.

 

I guess I had a weak moment at Costco when I puchased that Waggin Train stuff and then took a good look.

 

I really hate how Waggin Train tries to pass themselves off as a reputable company.

Crap, I feel terrible.  I read this post yesterday and then went home and check in our treat drawer and saw a bag of these stupid things sitting down at the bottom (my neighbor gave them to us when she realized her dog won't eat jerky type treats).  I briefly glanced at their website and it seemed ok and that was the end of it.  I was horrified when I read this post and realized that this brand of treats were the ones that made Taquito so sick.  I normally do so much reseach on food and treats before I buy them, and then the one time I didn't....So thank you very much for this post!!  I am going to go back through all of our treats this weekend and double check them to make sure there is nothing evil still lurching in that treat drawer.

I'm SO glad I read this! My dogs love them but I thought something seemed "off" about them because of the smell. My dogs love them but after reading this, I'll be finding something else for them to munch on.
