Hi

I am new to the site.  I am wondering what you feed your doodle?  I am looking at possibly making as switch in dry kibble and of course want the best for my dogs.  What has worked well for yours?

OK -- so I must really like this dog because I find feeding weird stuff to him kind of revolting -- but he LOVES it. So tonight's lovely meal consisted of the bones from the canned salmon that I normally throw out (when making our family recipe for salmon casserole) plus some of the skin/juice from the salmon that I also don't keep. This was placed on top of a glop of ground raw chicken with bones, then I cracked and egg on top and left the shell. I should have taken a picture -- it really did not look appetizing to me at all... but he gobbled it then licked the bowl clean and looked at me like "more??" Pretty funny. So we are newly trying some pre-made raw products... it is all still an experiment for me. He just wasn't into the kibble anymore and we kept having to dress it up, so I am trying something new.

Would love to hear more from you guys on what your doods are eating! :) I find it fascinating that there are so many options out there, so many types of kibbles and the whole grain free vs. not, raw vs. kibble, homemade vs. kibble, table scraps or not, etc. I had no idea there was all of this out there. It reminds me of when I starting using cloth diapers for my first child and learned that there is this whole crazy diapering community on the web with lots of opinions about what to use and not use and what works and who is right... and there were TONS of options... it was nutty.

-enjoying this all immensely...(the training, the food ideas, the grooming information, seeing all the variations of this breed, meeting new people on the web, all of it!) I needed a new hobby! Hope Sammy boy is enjoying it also ;)
