Digging Devil

Help anyone!!! Bentley has been digging and changing color from beautiful white to muddy brown. I've tried redirecting him to a spot that I don't mind (a sand pit just for him) But no matter he'll just dig anywhere, grass, flower beds - anywhere.... I'm at my wits end with him.

Try filling a spray bottle with water and spray him from a distance when you see him digging in the spots you don't want dug. Or try grabbing the hose and run a sprinkle over his back. Be careful and try not to let him see you. Also try hiding his toys and treats in the sand area and praise him and dig with him in sand. Good Luck.

Hi Helen, Thanks for the advice. On the water idea, we've tried spraying him (he loves it!) not tried down his back, but think the toys and treats might work - what can I lose???
