Training in Houston

(This is a duplicate post that I placed in the main page -- hoping to find local information from Houston folks)

We are in NW Houston and have searched this site and others for recommendations on a trainer.  I would be interested in a training facility and/or someone who comes to your home for private lessons.  Anyone have someone to recommend?  I planned to use Rover Oaks Resort in Katy, but it is not the closest to my home.

Some of these are board and train facilities.  Not sure I could handle that - do you think it is okay at a certain age?  What is the minimum age to start a class (not board and train)?
