Up all night...
Monty has a diarrhea that kept us up all night last night. The poor dood asked to be let out every 3 hours so we are all dragging today. The last time he went out was 3:30am and did not want to go out when my DH was leaving for work at 6am. So I was hoping it was over. We got up at 7:30 and nothing happened either. I was starting to think that Monty can make his grooming appointment that he has today at noon. But then he went again at 8am, just water. So no grooming for him today. The question I have: should I withhold any food today or is it okay to give him bland diet (cooked chicken and rice)? Thank you!

This happens periodically to Banjo. I've found chicken with white rice and a tablespoon of pumpin for several meals in a row...gradually blending in his TOW Kibble the second day...usually by day 3 he's totally back to normal. Hope Monty feels better soon and you all have a restful Friday night.

Use Kopectate! My vet recommended and it works great and does not hurt them. Rice afterwards is great. Boil the chicken without any fat.
