Good public places to take our Doodles

I'm thinking I need to be MUCH better about getting Seamus out of the house, with more time on the leash in places where there's people/smells/distractions to reinforce good behavior.

When our Golden was a pup, we were still in CA, where outdoor malls and cafes/restaurants abound, and we took him all over the place. Obviously things are a bit different in this neck of the woods ;).

So where is everyone taking their Doodles out-and-about?

We go to the beach off season or to the Chick's Beach area before 10am or after 6pm. Very dog friendly beach. Rocky loves to swim and "dry" off on the sand. YUCK!
