Does your dood's harness come unbuckled if they sit or stand on the seatbelt connector?

Hello, Traveling Doodle owners!

I am new to this group, but thought it would be the appropriate place to ask this question:  We have a car harness for Nugget that fits around her chest, clips together on her back and then has a 3 foot strap that snaps into the seat belt buckle in our car.  Love the harness, Nugget seems to find it comfortable and looks forward to putting it on because she knows it means a ride in the car.  However, if she stands or sits on the button that releases the seatbelt buckle, her harness will detach.  She has done this while we've been driving down the road.  If my daughter happens to be sitting next to her and can reach the buckle without detaching her own seatbelt, it's OK, but if my daughter is sitting in the middle row of the minivan she can't reach because Nugget always sits in the third row.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Does anyone have a better harness that doesn't attach this way?

Thanks so much!

We found a teather for the girls harnesses that clips to the buckle on the back of the harness and then clips into the cargo tie that is down in the seat beside the seatbelt buckle. That keeps it from being able to come unbuckled. Is also much simpler than having to put the seatbelt through it every time.

I saw this discussion group and have a couple of questions.  Who uses a harness for their doodle and if so, which one and why?
