Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Thought I would update you all on Bailey's progress, his fur is still very soft and silky, although in the last week he has began to get some quite strong waves along the center of his back which is a little courser. His puppy fur is shedding but the longer wavy fur does not shed - what a result. We are thrilled with how he is turning out, he has the most wonderful temperament, very clever, but is huge at 3 stone, with massive paws. I think he has a fair bit of growing to do!!
He jumped over the child gate yesterday, his legs are so long for almost 4 months. He loves his training classes and has lots of puppy playmates at our local country park, and in many ways we are blessed that he doesn't have the traditional doodle coat as he always comes back covered in mud ;O)
Would love to know how all the other non poodly doodles are doing
Love Michelle

He is really cute! And yes, he is going to be huge! I had to look up "stones" and according to what I found, he weighs 42 lbs, which means he is most likely going to top 90 lbs as an adult. You might even have a 100 lber there!
He is so handsome. I think he is definitely going to be a big, big boy.
Hello Michelle,
Our Tess who is now 5 months old today did the same thing. The pictures were taken just two weeks ago (not sure what she is doing in the first picture but this is how she greeted my husband after coming home from work). You can see she has some serious waves going on. These waves get thicker and longer every day. I met a beautiful golden doodle the other day at the vet who has this massive hair, when the owner said he takes her to the groomer every week to get her mane brushed out (she is 112 lb), I too felt blessed that I had a golden doodle minus the doodle. She like Bailey loves the mud and water, much easier to hose her down in our walk in shower at home!
;)
Have a merry Christmas!

So cute!
Luna used to rip up puppy training pads, so we decided to use newspaper instead. Cheaper, non-toxic and if you do a few layers it does just fine to absorb the pee.
