Coat change 9 weeks/5 month/ 10 month

For anybody who is wondering what their smooth coat Doodle will look like....here are some pics of my chewie...he is still changing though!

What a cutie!  The little frills under his ears look a bit like Luna's but hers are curlier.

Aww she is really cute! how old is she? is she shedding? Chewie is 10 month now and shedding like crazy, I hope its just the coat change....

She's 3.5 now.  She sheds a lot and even more seasonally (Spring especially).  She grows a thick undercoat during the Winter that sheds in early Spring.  If your doodle sheds I highly recommend getting a Furminator!  Awesome for the seasonal shedding to keep the tumbleweeds in the house under control :p  I don't bother doing it most of the year but I use it a ton when she's changing between summer/winter coats.

Hi Michaela - Thanks for posting, I always love to see everyone's changes! I just posted pics on my profile page for Milly for 11 weeks, 4 months and 6 months. Around 3-4 months she started shedding (kind of a sad day!), but somewhere between months 4 and 5, I gave her a bath and when I toweled her off she had a wavy stripe up her back! Since then she has gotten progressively wavier and sheds less and less. Guessing her face will always be retrieverish, but it seems a little pointier and poodlier to me than the wider muzzle of a retriever, not sure. I know she will never look like a classic goldendoodle (or a classic GR for that matter) -- but am so curious to see where she ends up!

It's funny, Milly wasn't as fluffy as Luna was as a pup, but is maybe a little wavier than Luna was at 6 months, can't quite tell. In any case, pretty similar, I wouldn't doubt that they'll look related by the time Milly grows up. :)

I love the set of the ears - or at least that they show on the smooth coated doodles.  They all seem to have such cute body shapes.
