The face and the coat are really two separate issues, and the face is the one that can be more easily predicted at this age. She doesn't have the furnishings. What will happen with her coat, nobody can really say. It does look thicker and curlier to me than a GR's. I think she has the GR face but may very well have a doodle coat. No way to know at this point. Many GRs do have long fluffy wavy coats.
"Open face" means absence of facial furnishings, it has nothing to do with the rest of the coat. The people who are saying that she is going to be more GR are referring to her face, not her coat, because the shaggy face is what most think of when they think of the typical "doodle" look, and that's usually more important to most people than how curly the coat is.
At any rate, your puppy has what she has, and her coat will be what it will be, lol. Love and enjoy her.
Here's another pic of Luna (I posted one in the other thread too) at 11 weeks where you can see her coat really well. It does look a little straighter and less fluffy than Georgia's coat... but Luna's not a standard GD too so it's hard to compare. There are big perks to having a doodle with a GR-like coat.. very low maintenance :)
