Straight haired or wavy? Will my pup keep changing?

[Where's the Poodle in my Doodle?]

Tucker has changed so much since he was a pup and has always looked like a retriever. He has now lost most of his puppy fluff and is getting very wavy all over his body, head and neck. He even has little hairs under his chin and around his mouth. I thought he was more of a straight haired doodle, but am wondering if he is likely to keep changing. He is 5 months now. Is there any chance for a loose/wavy coat?? Would love your opinion? I attached a baby pic of Tuck and a recent one too.
