Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hey everyone! This is my sweet pup, Teddy. He's an F2B and 9 weeks old. He's an absolute charmer and has the sweetest eyes. I love him to pieces and can't imagine life without him (it's funny, since I've only had him for about a week), but I was just curious as to what his coat may look like later on. I don't think he has a beard, but I do see a hint of those long doodle eyebrows. He was the only pup with straight hair in his litter, and surprisingly the only golden male.
I would love to hear what others think and see if anyone else has a puppy that looks like my Teddy!

Oh my goodness, Leo is absolutely adorable!! I am in the same boat as you, as Teddy loves to eat and he's a bit of a chunk. He was the largest of his litter and he's currently 18 pounds -- but the vet said it was a normal weight since he looks like he's going to be large. Leo and Teddy do look a lot a like though and I'm interested to see how they turn out!
The dog I had growing up looked just like Teddy except she was jet black. Her build and ears and face - just the same. She was my forever heart dog. I wish you as many wonderful memories with Teddy as I had with my Cindy.
My thoughts are that Teddy won't have the fluffy doodle look, or facial furnishings. He certainly has a nice coat though. I love his ears.
Oh, thank you! And I certainly do appreciate your feedback! I know they change a lot, and even if he has more of a flat coat, I'm interested to see how he looks a year from now.
Me too! I just love his coloring.
Wow, Teddy has fantastic coloring. I will defer to the experts about if he will have furnishings. When Rosie was Teddy's age she only had longer chin and cheek hair (most of her chin hair was concentrated in to long hair fangs on the sides of her mouth). I can't tell from this picture how long his cheek and chin hair is, but it appears he has some longer chin hair.
