Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi All,
I have a sweet doodle, Pepper, who is 15 weeks old, about 13 weeks in this photo, and 8 weeks in one of the attached, with a ball. She is the best little girl, and just wants to love everyone she meets, and cuddle all the time. She is an F1b with 75% Retriever.
Her mother, Marg, is a golden doodle with interesting coloring as she came from a black poodle and a red golden retriever. Marg has golden coloring, with black riming her ears, eyes, and black points. And her father is an English Creme golden retriever. Marg has been bred before, and usually throws a variety of colors/coats in her litters, but in this litter the pups were all black, some with white markings, and there was only one solid white pup.
It seems as though by Peppers age you can tell if they will grow a doodle beard and long shaggy doodle coat. She does have some long tufts of hair on her body, but mostly where you'd expect a retriever to grow its feathers. She is shedding her puppy fuz like crazy right now too. She also has white hair in the pads of her paws, and a few white whiskers on her face.
We adore her, and will love her no matter what she looks like as an adult dog, but I'm curious if any of you doodle lovers have any ideas?

She is adorable and reminds me of my very special childhood dog. I love her head and ears. We had someone post not too long ago and her pup looked just like yours. I think Pepper has an open face and won't get a beard, and with 75% retriever she will probably continue to shed.
