All you male miniture Goldendoodle owners.....We are going to be getting our little guy the end of February. The only thing people keep reminding me is that Male dogs like to lift their leg and mark their territory (in the house).  Are you finding this a problem?  Any solutions?  We do plan on having him fixed as soon as possible.

Our little Harley still doesn't lift his leg. We only had a few accidents in the house before he was fully trained.
I don't have a dog from this breeder, but I wanted to pop in to respond anyway.
Regarding males and marking...if your dog is neutered before sexual maturity I don't think you have a single thing to worry about. Marking in the house is VERY rarely done by neutered males who are housebroken. If you do a search using the search box in the main Doodle Kisses site forum, and search for some terms related to marking or leg lifting you'll find it's not a problem. My male Rosco didn't even lift outside until he was about 10 months old and after that he ONLY lifts outside to mark over areas other dogs have peed.
Our male Buddy doesn't lift his leg at all. Good luck.
My Archie has never raised his leg-- he does a little squat thing. Other than a few accidents in the house-- and that was more likely my fault for not getting him out sooner-- he has never marked in the house. He was actually not difficult to train at all in that respect. He was neutered at 10 months.
