About Me:: I'm a very active senior enjoying my retirement in the Catskill Mountains of New York. I lived in Manhattan most of my life so its my dream come true to live here. I love cooking, bird watching (mostly hawks and bald eagles) watching the stars at night and hiking. I love laughing and keeping things fun.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a standard chocolate Labradoodle male named Mojo. I brought him home at 8 weeks old and he was a wild boy, jumping and tearing my clothes and nipping me. With constant training, good treats and clicker he is now becoming such a good puppy He still has a lot to learn.. I don't have any other pets.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: This is my second dog, my first was a Siberian Husky, she was the most amazing dog and sadly she swallowed an acorn whole and it was lodged in her lower intestines, she died shortly after surgery January 19th. She shed a lot and my daughter was allergic to her so after she passed I decided on a Labradoodle because they're smart and may not shed much and maybe my daughter wouldn't be as allergic to it as other dogs. And also because Labradoodles are so adorable with great sense of humor.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Playing fetch, cuddling, walking him in places that are exciting to him. I can't wait till we can swim together, he is just learning about water and slowly getting to like it.
Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?: At 4 months he had his first grooming and I keep up with brushing, cleaning his ears and a bit of trimming untill next groom
Favorite Doodle Products?: Stuffed moose, balls, food puzzles and kong plus his 2x a week marrow bone.
Relationship Status:: In a Relationship

Vivian, I'm with you on the tipping. I tip everyone and it drives my husband crazy, but that's just me! I especially tip my groomer, afterall she is taking care of our "baby" and she always does a great job on Libby.
