About Me:: Former personal trainer/lifestyle & weight management consultant, and natural bodybuilder. Originally an English Lit major, I returned to college at 40 to study physiology. Proud mom to 2 adult children and 1 grandson. Retired. Enjoy reading, gardening, computer games, and the great outdoors. Have lived with poodles and poodle-mix dogs for more than 60 years. Have been actively involved in dog rescue since 1998.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: F1 standard male, "Jackdoodle" born 11-28-2004. 80 lbs, apricot, adopted from a shelter in January 2006 at 14 months old.
From the day I brought him home, he has never had an accident, never chewed or damaged anything, never taken food from the counter, never gone in the garbage, never bothered the cat. He is absolutely phenomenal with children...a stroller coming down the street gets his tail going in circles. He sheds like crazy, and has lots of medical & psychological issues, but he is an exceptionally good boy.

My darling boy went to the Bridge on November 18, 2017, 10 days short of his 13th birthday. He will live in my heart forever.

Jasper is a purebred silver Miniature Poodle born 1/11/18. He came home March 24th.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Shelter
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I really did not choose, or particularly want, a doodle. But when I saw him at the shelter, I just couldn't leave him in that cage! He looked so sad.
Really cute, really sweet, he needed me and I needed him.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Walk in the woods, visit friends, play fetch, kiss his big nose!

Just saw your message about the senior doodle. We rescued our doodle from Indi Lab rescue. They love helping doodles and would be HAPPY ago help out. I know a lot of folks wanted our doodle that we were very lucky to get.
