Hi Sandy,

Bindi is Murphy's (Alphie's) litter sister right? I have cut it with scissors I bought at the pet store they have a blunted end and the blades go at a different angle at the end. They make it easier to get into tight spots and safer around his eyes. He is so patient when we cut him just sits like a little dream. I just cut his whole coat with scissors. One side limbs and all and then he gets a break and so do we, my husband Bill holds hims, well when he needs holding which is only when you get to his head or his feet because Murph keeps turning his head to see what I'm doing! He does look pretty funny when the one whole side is done and the other is not ...running around the 1/2 and 1/2 dog!! hahaha! Maybe I'll take a pix next time. The cut ends up being kinda chunky looking but oh well it softens in a few days and I'm sure I'll get better at it. Better than paying big bucks to get it done. I like to keep the hair around his face and eyes pretty short which means probably weekly. We also cut his nails and I need to learn how to clean his ears. He is just starting to shed his puppy coat. All these fine hairs coming out when I pet him now. Can't wait until that is over!

Hi Trish,
Murphy's coat is so beautiful. Have you had it cut yet? Did you do it yourself? If you had Murphy shaved did it come back any differently than what it was? We are wanting to keep Bindi's coat this long but the groomers around here want to shave her. I'm not too computer savy but I will try to get one of my kids to help me to put some pictures of Bindi on line this weekend.
