My doodle has always had a doodle cut, whatever that means. LOL. I'm constantly asked if he is a poodle because he has such a thick curly coat. They think he's a poodle in a puppy cut. I did try to grow the poodle's coat longer and do a more doodle-style cut but in all honesty, he looks better cut as a poodle. So I guess each of them will be groomed to look like what they are. It suits them best.
