The time change is hard especially if you can't sleep on the plane because you get to Italy and it's morning in most cases. Having a driver should help a lot though. Enjoy your trip.

I loved your pictures.  We are going to Italy,, June 13-23,, we never have been. we're going to Venice, Florence and Rome.  We are not driving there at all, a travel agent set up some tours with a driver.

The 6 hours ahead worry me since we live in Boston now, and i have a son in LA thats 3 hours behind and I get thrown off with my sleep everytime i visit him, and I know Italy is 6 hours ahead.  Oh well, I am sure it will be worth it.
