I'm so surprised you know all this. Baloo is getting more gray in his coat as he gets older, too, but so far you can only tell when looking closely. My daughter married into the three families that have all these dogs. Baloo was given to us free by her boyfriend (at the time). He was a stud fee to her boyfriend's family who owned Geeter (and who owned Duke before.) If I understand correctly, they wanted to breed Duke mostly because he had really good hair (er, fur). I don't think Emma is a Party Poodle, but the family that has her bought one last year. Unfortunately his markings have faded with age and I don't know if they will breed her. We'd love to see any pictures you get. I bet Maggie is getting big if she is like her other litter mates that I see.

No way!! I thought I recognized him!!  So Jade and Geeter are Baloo's and Maggies parents!  So cool!  Jade is from Emma the Parti-Poodle mixed with Duke the Springer Spaniel.  The family doesn't have Duke anymore but Emma is still with them.  Ellie is a litter mate of our pups and she has turned a light grey color.  The family is going to send me some pics, so once I get them I will send them your way.  We will have to have a doggie play date once Maggie gets a little bigger:)

Hi Remington!   Yes, I'm in Utah and our dogs are from the same parents.  :)  Baloo was given to us as a gift from the family who owns Geeter, the white standard poodle who fathered these litters.  (There is a picture of Geeter on my page.)  The family in Springville weren't going to breed their Springer/Poodle again after their second litter that we got Baloo from because it was so much work.  But after a little begging, they agreed to one more litter and I have three of them here right now!  :)  It's puppy mayhem!!!   My son-in-law/daughter chose a multi-colored tan male (there were two tan ones) and picked two others for relatives in SLC and out-of-state.  The out-of-state relatives came this week and are in love with their little guy.  It will be interesting to see how big these puppies get because Baloo (a male) is much larger (taller) than his mother and another female from the last litter.  Anyway, congrats on your little Maggie!  :)

What a little cutie!  My Doodle looks a lot like Baloo.  Do you by chance live in Utah or Wyoming?  I acquired Maggie through a lady in Springville, Utah.  Her mother is an F1 Springer/Standard mix, bred back to a white Standard that looks a lot like Baloo's father.

I see the sweet springer in Baloo's  face.
