Great - I checked the link you sent and it automatically took us to the UK version so we are going to do a bit of homework and see if its compatible and we will let you know. Thanks for the tips as it sounds like a great way to amuse Maui instead of the radio.

I was going to offer to buy one and ship it to you, but then I remembered the power wouldn't be right.  It shouldn't be too hard to find though, check this link:

http://www.roku.com/uk#4

I noticed they say that over 300 channels are available in UK.  I assume that includes DogTV but you may want to check first just to be sure.  As long as you have a reasonably fast Internet connection you should be fine.  My sister's family lives in Switzerland and I've never had a problem connecting any of my US devices when I visit.

I bought a DogTV subscription for $10 per month, a cheap roku for $49, attached it to an old tv and put it in front of her kennel.  Might cost you a bit more in GBP but still not terrible.

Oh that made us laugh! We loved the video!! and we are going to hunt for Dog Tv channel on our system. Pretending to be a ferocious guard dog was a really funny bit, Maui because of her size does that big bark and everyone thinks she is too but all she wants to do is to roll over and be tickled. She also likes PLAYING with all other dogs, so much so she even jumps over the little ones and adores 2 tibetan terriers who she runs & roles with. Thank you for the TV tip as we have only used the radio for her amusement.

Let's see ... she likes to eat (but only if it's whatever I happen to be eating at the time), learning new things, taking showers (I have to close the door when I am getting the shower ready or she will jump in), going for walks (especially if exploring new places), running with me (she's still a pup, so we don't push it too hard yet), standing guard at the window and thinking she is a ferocious guard dog when a stranger comes to the door, riding in the car, snuggling up in my bed on a weekend morning (she actually knows that on Saturdays and Sundays after going out, it is cuddle time and she races back to the bedroom ahead of me and snuggles up in the pillows ... and most of all, PLAYING with all other dogs, big or small, rain or shine.  Also I just found out that she likes to watch TV, especially shows with animals - as shown this video:

Does any of that sound familiar???

We have had the last of our snow this year and we are excited to see what fun is around the corner - spring?!?!

What else does she love - maybe they have more than snow frolics in common......

Thanks Rebecca!  Also I looked at your pictures and I see they both like to play in the snow!

OHHHhhh your gorgeous doodle looks just like Maui!

Maui is about to go back to the groomers and you before and after shots look just the same as our experience

of bear to fluff ball.

Gorgeous!!
