We've been talking about adding another Doodle to our family.  Well, I've been doing most of the talking.  Ha!  We are moving this summer & he will probably be deploying right after we move.  I was thinking during his deployment I would get another one & have already found a breeder I'll probably go with.  I would use our other breeder except he doesn't have any small dogs & I want a smaller one this time around.  Watch, it will probably end up being bigger than the one we have.  :-)

Your response had me lol.  I was told his litter would be about 35 pounds (though my husband did pick the largest pup from the litter) & I didn't want a dog any bigger.  We had a dog that was 75 punds before this one & with all the moving around we do (husband is active duty) I just wanted a smaller dog this time around.  Jackson is now not only the color I wanted but he is pushing 60 pounds.  But I wouldn't trade him for anything.....he's the best dog I've ever had hands down.

I understand, " I thought I wanted ----some color".

My Spud has the worst coat, his size is much smaller than what I wanted, everything he is, was not on the list.  He is the greatest dog I've ever had the pleasure of being a Best Friend with.

Thank you!  I thought I wanted a chocolate dog but I love his new color too.  His Dad was a dark chocolate & his Mom was exactly the color he is now.

Wow.  Is this the same very very dark chocolate dog?  Or, is this a different dog?
