Hello Patty - How's it going?  We haven't seen you for a while, but I like the new car for the doodles.  One thing you might consider (which has been a savior for us) is a truck bed liner.  We have one in the back of our Freestyle and it cleans out easily after a trip to the beach.  Of course, for longer trips, we put sleeping pads on the floor for the dogs. 

When are you coming down to Carmel?  Love to meet you there.

We looked at a fair amount of SUVs and had to measure the back area to make sure two wire crates could fit.  We chose the Pilot.  We use the crates if we are traveling a longer distance than just into town.  We used to have an H2 Hummer and this time I wanted something a bit smaller because of fuel costs.  But, the crates just didn't fit any of the smaller SUVs.  I really like you photos.  Remember to take lots when you get you new pup!  We all love to see them.

That's a great photo.  I have one that similar... truthfully, I'm not sure I got a big enough car.  Oh, well...  :-)
