Most of the bridges are over a small creek. It is amazing that people took that much time and effort to care for the bridge just cross the tiny creek.... It would never happen now....

17 bridges.  Good grief.  You have some stories to tell!  I am going to assume all are very different. Of course, each unique structure

We visited 13 today. It is almost like a self torture in a way, tough. I have this dark images and thoughts about the farms and to get to the some of the bridges, I had to drive narrow dirt road for miles in the woods and amongs the farms. I am thinking what if I get a flat tire, what if one of the tire fell of the road ( some times the side was a ditch ), or scary famrer comes to shoot us, or when the farmer comes Charlie will bark and get shot.....( I know I am carzy...) Then, like a treasure, the bridge appears....... 2 weeks ago we did 4, so now a total of 17.....
