He was one of 11 F1b pups out of my daughters apricot F1 golden doodle bred to a black standard. He was the only chocolate. He's a great dog, now about 65 lbs, and he belongs to my friend Todd in the picture. He was a definite "no dog" person before he got Hershey. Now they're nearly inseparable.

Hi Gary! I was looking at the photos on DK's front page and saw this incredible chocolate goldendoodle. He is just gorgeous! Is Hershey one of your dogs or a littermate? I have been interested in chocolate g-doodles, but most breeders I've talked with said it is almost impossible to retain the brown color genetic marker with goldens. I ADORE my apricot boy, but was wondering if you had purchased Hershey from a breeder or bred him yourself. Best doodle regards :-)
