My husband and I just got our first goldendoodle Casey in June '12. We love him to pieces and want to learn as much as we can about goldendoodles (general info, health, safety and anything else that is helpful in raising a happy, healthy goldendoodle)!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We were looking for a dog that was non-shedding/minimal shedding and I always wanted a goldendoodle. Every goldendoodle I ever met I loved and I knew it was the right breed for us.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Play fetch, go for long walks, cuddle, and training, training, training!

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I brush every day. For his first groom, we went to a large chain store. Casey was fine and they were great with him, but I'm trying to find a local private groomer.
