About Me:: I am a musician from Nashville Tennessee and moved to Indy in 2005.I currently teach music programs to preschools and am painting murals for a doggie day care...In Nashville I had my own pet sitting service for 8 years...

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Luna's breeder bought her Dad The Golden from ...believe it or not Romania..He was a white English Golden and her Mom was a black Standard Our Luna Is pure white and considered Teddy Bear

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I worked for a groomer part time and I saw my first doodles there . They were so friendly and wonderful to groom and so sweet

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We go for a mile or 2 hike each day or when weather permits. We love the park! Hr dad hits racket balls with his golfclubs everyday ...Her fave is a fishing pole with a piece of cloth on it! Also she likes to go between our legs and run round the house we just tell her lets ride the pony Ha

I do think if I had that she would do better. Her groomer says she does great and even jumps up on the table when it is her turn.

At 1:10pm on January 9, 2009, Karen & Lucy said…: Lucy weighs about 65#. I love the long coat too and have to brush her out about every 3 days. Her fur is not a kinky curly as some or I would be brushing her out daily. I too am lazy with the brushing, or I was when she was younger and she would matt. I was taking her to the groomers monthly until I just could not afford it anymore and decided I better start brushing her more and paying more attention to her. The only thing is, she will not let me do her nails. I am afraid to clip them so I bought a PediPaws which is like a dremal. She lets me touch it to her nails, but as soon as I turn it on she runs. She is too big for me to hold down, so I have asked her obedience inst. if she would clip them for me and she will. Do you mean that Looney has the same turkey/chicken thingy? That thing was sooooo funny and had such a funny sound to it, which Lucy did quick work at getting that out. She still has a piece of it left.
