About Me:

I am a retired teacher who lives with my husband and two of my 6 kids! Our home is emptying, but my family talked me into starting another puppy before our 14 year old Goldendoodle passed away. What a joy!!

We recently lost our beautiful 14 year old F1 standard Goldendoodle. She was a real joy and had been with my 14 year old daughter her whole life. Several months before we lost Goldie, we brought home Teddy, a medium size F3 from Goldendoodle Acres in Wisconsin. We are so very glad we got Teddy when we did. He was a perfect, sleepy little companion to our aging Goldie and learned much from her in those months.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Little to no shedding. I had a golden retriever mis for many years. I'm sure if I looked, I could still find some of her hair somewhere in this house after 15 years!! We love the retriever personality and reliability, and started looking for labradoodles and
goldendoodles.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Just play around the kitchen when I'm cleaning and doing laundry after husband has left for work and the kids are at school. It's a nice time for inside play and some outside breaks to walk around the yard or take short walks. Helps me celebrate my retirement! I'm starting puppy classes and enjoying that time a well.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

A groomer come monthly to our house in her specially equipped van.
