I help people find their dream homes or cottages. I live on a beautiful lake mostly seasonal for most others. I love to bake, even treats for the fur babies. I like to spend time outdoors, with my husband and fur kids . I am thinking of doing some therapy training with the dogs, or looking into Agility schools.. we will see!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Our doodles are Gunner male, 1 yr. old a pati miniature doodle black and white 37lbs. My shadow. Very cuddly, talks to us thinks we should understand everything he says, saucy thinks he is the boss! Loves the lake and swimming and very long walks in the woods. Was very nervous, when younger of almost everything, as he gets older he has gained confidence. He loves his toys and will find them were ever I hide them never gives up.
Teeka one year old Golden-doodle 50lbs now, her personality is very mischievous, curious wants to check out everything she likes to cuddle also but loves to spend her days outside chasing squirrels up trees is a favourite activity. Or checking up on my husbands wereabouts and taking off with a tool or two. Retrieving sticks, the bigger the better. She will soak in the lake but never swims, yet! Loves boat rides and going in the truck. It has been a bit of a challenge to stop her from barking at everything that moves outdoors . The pair of them play together so well. Training two puppies from different breeders the same age, let me say has been interesting. They are both very smart, and beautiful and bring so much love, from the moment I stir in the morning two sweet doodles smother me in kisses, jumping for joy eager to start our days adventures.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
We had a beautiful 98lb big boy golden doodle for 11 brilliant years. The most loving devoted smart gentle giant . Rusty had unique relationships with all family members. Loved kids! Rusty was on my business cards and often could be found working with me... nothing we didn’t love about Rusty or his breed.
He died of cancer 2 1/2 yrs ago.
So we knew once we were ready, we would find another doodle. (or 2 doodles:) I searched and watched for rescues, them came across a breeder of Miniature Pati-doodles, my Grandaughter thought for our age a smaller dog might be nice for us. She went with us to pick him from the litter, then we had to wait weeks to bring him home. In the mean time one day while out for a drive, a big sign golden doodles for sale lured us in to take a look. It’s a place that has puppies way to often...anyway we left with a little apricot bundle,Teeka.
2 weeks later our little boy Gunner arrived.
