About Me:: I am a first time dog owner, and have two cats that live with us as well. We live at the Jersey Shore and enjoy fishing and long beach walks with Zazu...Zazu also accompanies me to Assisted Living facilities and enjoys "doggy daycare" whenever we are away for the day and can't take her with us.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Fox Creek's Lady Zazu is a F2 mini doodle from Amy Lane and she is ADORABLE.....She's beige with russet points and has a wonderful loving and kind disposition...I swear she also understands EVERY word we say to her. She's 25 pounds, was the runt of the litter and passed her Good Citizen test at 6 months. We also have two grey cats that we saved from the wild...One looks like it's smiling all the time, hence the name "Smiley" and "Ditto" who looks exactly like Smiley .

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Hybrid vigor, less shedding, and hoping for the best of both the golden and the poodle.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Beach walks, car rides, playing with plastic water bottles.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Les Poochs brush is FANTASTIC to get the matting out

Where is Normandy Beach? Have nav, will travel. Funny, didn't do that with my human kids! I am looking for a place that she can run the beach, we can take a walk on a boardwalk, find a place to have lunch together. Any suggestions?

Zoey is a mini so she should be about 20lbs full grown. Ozzy is in school now as I want him to thearpy work. I did this with my other dog before she passed away this May. I love seeing the smiles on someones face. Check out Jersey Doodles, we do get together with other doodles and have lots of fun.

We have been here for 3+ weeks and she hasn't been to the beach yet. In a nut shell, Miami Beach laws are not dog friendly - restaurants w/ outside seating loves them)but boardwalks and beaches, not so much.
I am hoping to take her to the beach alot in NJ - I hope you can tell me where I can bring her. I love to drive - my motto 'have navi, will travel' applies to Samantha. If we didn't have this apt here in MB, I would have DH renting us a house down the shore - just so Samantha and I could walk the way we do here. As I am sure you understand, walking in a beach town is very different from walking in the burbs. I may have to look into finding some place to rent for long weekends.
I work in So. Orange (she comes to work with me everyday) and live in short Hills, daughter in Montclair, let me know when you are in Verona and if you bring Zazu, they could play in our yard (completely fenced in) or meet at the dog park - South Mountain is a great park.

Samantha & I live in Short Hills, NJ. She begged & pleaded to get out of the cold and DH & I finally gave in and we left NJ for our apartment in Florida. On the way we stopped to visit friends in Richmond. Belinda from the Richmond group invited us over to meet her and she surprised us with 16 Doodles that came over to play. We have also met several DK members here in Florida. You have found a wonderful extended family here in DK.
I hope to meet when we get back next month.

What I do that makes it even easier is find which photos I want to put on my page and save a copy to my desktop. Then I open up my page and click on add photos. It takes you to a place where you can click on my desktop. Your photos will be there (probably by number. You just click on each one and add it. Or depending upon your computer when you click on desktop the photos will be on the left and you will drag them to the right This sounds hard but there are directions all along the way.
