I am a retired wife and mother of four grown children, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren . I have had and have loved dogs all my life.

I have four dogs, A F1, golden doodle, ten week old female pup, Rosie , Her mother, Lucy, which is a four year old Golden Retriever, a 10 year old black and white Shih Tzu, Gracie, and a reddish brown 16 year old Pekingese, Babe.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

This doodle was the pup of a Golden Retriever, Lucy, that I purchased. She was a breeder and was retired early, 4 years old, because she had two large litters early . Out of the first litter of golden retrievers, only 6 lived and only one lived out of the second litter of golden doodles, Lucy's milk never came in so another female nursed the pup and I purchased her when she was eight weeks old on Dec. 21.
