What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

About to get our first goldendoodle puppy in a few weeks!! She is a mini F1b and is red. Last May, we lost our beloved lab mix (now I hear people are calling them "labradanes") named Biscuit, but we still have her "sister," a lab mix named Butter, and other sister, a cat named Taffy. Butter has never been without another dog and I believe she will (eventually) enjoy our new dog.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I have friends with goldendoodles and I love their intelligence and their intuitive nature as it pertains to people. We really like the "less shedding" part, and the less dog-odor part. Our other dogs are (were) big, and when Biscuit was sick and dying, I couldn't pick her up, and my very strong husband could barely do it. I got a mini so that in 16 years, if she gets sick and he's on the golf course, I can get her to the vet for help on my own! (I'm a planner!)

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

I love training dogs and want to teach her activities to do in the house and hope to try to teach her some agility skills just for fun.

I have a name from a friend and I want to (try) to learn. I'll get back to you on that ...
